Extremely professional and knowledgeable Make Up Artist!

I met her at my best-friend’s wedding. She was natural in her work and made everyone look stunning. Especially the bride! Easy to communicate with and very responsive. She was prompt and professional, but most importantly she is a a highly skilled makeup artist. Her work was truly flawless! Would recommend without hesitation!

Korean Make-up On Point!!

Let's get the expected and obvious notes out of the way. Make-up was long lasting: through 12 hours, many tears, and tons of hugs. Marqui's busted through 1 bride, 4 bridesmaids, 2 moms, all within a timely fashion. Her responses to emails and arrival to the venue was prompt and exactly what you want when planning a wedding.

Now for my personal comments, I am asian (Korean) and its always tricky to do our make-up. But Marqui killed it. She knew exactly what I wanted, what my bridesmaids wanted, what the mothers wanted and executed it ALL to the "t". If there was any feedback you might have, she is extremely open to hearing you out and work with you to make you look the absolute best on your day. I have no regrets hiring her and would do it again in a heartbeat. On top of everything else, she is SUPER cool and her vibe is something that helps you feel calm and collected on such a busy and hectic day. She truly made me feel beautiful inside and out, and I can guarantee she will make you feel the same way. THANKS MARQUI, you the best.

All I can say is: Thank you, Marqui. I felt so beautiful--like a goddess or a movie star. 

She listened well and adapted my look to my desires--we did a trial session at her studio and it was such fun doing a mini and impromptu photoshoot with her! My mother LOVED her and she did an amazing job on my mom (of course), my grandma, and all my bridesmaids. She was organized and good with her timing. We had a calm and fun morning with her on the day of the wedding, with no crazy rushing. This is especially outstanding because she lives on Whidbey and had to travel down to Ballard for the make up session. It was like having a big sister or friend with you to do your make up. She was such a lovely and warm presence to have around.

Marqui was incredible to work with. The number of wedding party members interested in having their makeup done kept changing up until the day of our wedding and she was happy to accommodate and had built in a little time so she could be flexible. I wear the lightest of makeup on a daily basis and Marqui was able to strike a balance of making me look like myself but enhanced. When I went for my pre-wedding "test" session, my (now) husband picked me up and he jaw dropped. He LOVED how I looked. Her work had the same effect on my wedding day. I felt I still looked like me and felt like her makeup job looked really good in the photos as well.

Marqui was wonderful to work with! Neither myself nor my bridesmaids wear make-up on a regular basis but Marqui did a fantastic job giving us all natural but special looks for my September wedding. Everyone looked (and felt!) gorgeous while looking like ourselves. She captured all our styles perfectly and was on time, professional, and easy to communicate with prior to the event. Despite some happy tears throughout the day and lots of dancing my make-up still looked great at the end of the night. I highly recommend Marqui and am so glad I had the opportunity to work with her!
